R Ramakrishnan

Prior to Polycab Mr. Ramakrishnan played a very successful leadership role in Bajaj Electricals Ltd for 12 years. The company was transformed from a Rs 300 Crore company in 1999 - 2000 to a Rs 3100 Crore company in 2011 – 2012. There was significant shareholder value creation, improvement in profitability and market share. Mr. Ramakrishnan also served in Asian Paints for 17 years and moved up from a Management Trainee to the position of General Manager.

Mr. Ramakrishnan is an active speaker in International Conferences and has addressed the European Growth Summit in Barcelona, Asia Economic Summit in Hong Kong and India Leadership Summit in Chicago. He has also delivered talks at Harvard University, Stanford University, Columbia, Kellogg, Chicago Booth, MIT Sloan & London Business School.

Mr. Ramakrishnan was the President of the Bombay Management Association for 2012-13. He also serves on the Executive Committee of Indian Society of Advertisers, Consumers Complaints of The Advertising Standards Council of India and the Corporate Governance & Industry Committee of the Indian Merchants Chamber.

Ram obtained his Post Graduation degree in Business Management from XLRI, Jamshedpur in 1982 after graduating in B.Sc. (Honours) from Osmania University, Hyderabad with a distinction, in 1980. Mr. Ramakrishnan is considered an expert on India and China, Economic Policies, Manufacturing, Marketing and Change Management. He is a keen Golfer and has also published a book on photography titled "My African Odyssey".

Shyam Lal Bajaj

Mr. Bajaj served as the Director of Finance at Vedanta Limited during 2012 - 2015. Mr. Bajaj served as Chief Financial Officer and Vice President of Finance at Sterlite Technologies Limited (Formerly, Sterlite Optical Technologies Ltd.) He served as Chief Financial Officer of Hindustan Zinc. Ltd until November 30, 2011. He was responsible for Finance and Accounts for Sterlite Optical Technologies Ltd. Previously, Mr. Bajaj served as the Senior General Manager at Sterlite Industries (India) Limited and was responsible for MIS and Accounts. Mr. Bajaj joined the Sterlite Group in 1995 and his key focus areas had been MIS and Finance.

Prior to Vedanta Mr. Bajaj worked with Hindustan Development Corp Ltd, S.A.E (India) Ltd, ABB Group company (now RPG Group company)and also worked as Partner with S.S Kothari & Co, Chartered Accountants.

Mr. Bajaj is a Commerce Graduate and holds a Chartered Accountant degree from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India.

Mr. Rajesh Jain

Mr. Rajesh Jain is a Commerce Graduate and a Charted Accountant with over 30 years of experience with leading organizations both in Industry and Investment banking .His areas of expertise include investment banking, consulting, managing finance in the large Indian corporate. He has also played profit center responsibilities in various organizations.

Mr. Rajesh Jain was earlier the Managing Director and Head – Investment Banking with IDFC a leading financial institution.

Mr. Rajesh Jain, as an Investment banker, has executed large and mid-sized deals from a buy and sell side across a variety of sectors. In his role, he also executed India’s first large management buyer deal which was bought by Black Stone Private Equity.

Prior to joining IDFC Mr. Rajesh Jain was a partner in KPMG – India and has worked in different leadership roles in KPMG covering Investment Banking, consulting and markets. He began his corporate career at A.F Ferguson consulting and subsequently worked with RPG Group and ZEE group where he was deeply involved in various roles such as finance, M&A strategy, operations and leading businesses.

Mr. Rajesh Jain is also credited with several publications and he has authored 4 publications in Media and Entertainment sector with FICCI.

Ramesh Vishwakarma

Ramesh Vishwakarma is B.E. (Mechanical) from Visvesvaraya Regional College of Engineering, Nagpur. He started his career from M/S Telco, Jamshedpur. He has 37 years of experience in automobile company like M/s Telco, DCM Toyota, Daewoo Motors India, P. T. Wahana Perkasa Auto Jaya, Indonesia, Tata Motors, Nano plant, plus also ancillary units like M/s Munjal Showa, Satyam auto Components where he was responsible for operations of the units.

He had been working in Project department, production department, production engineering & special purpose vehicle department and change Management.

He was a member of first light commercial vehicle project in India, Daewoo car Cielo’s project and Daewoo’s Matiz car introduction in India. Last important assignment which he handled, was Tata Nano project, where installation & commissioning of Sanand plant was completed within 14 months including shifting of Nano plant from Singur to Sanand.

He is trained at Japan for one year from 1992-93 under ILO scholarship and was awarded diploma & also trained on factory management at TOYOTA Motor Corporation for 5 weeks under AOTS in the year of 1984.

He had been visiting very frequently Japan, Korea for grasping the technology and transferring it to India. To name few, Matiz car technology & Cielo body shop technology is one of the activities performed by him.

He is also trained to become independent Director.
