At Polycab, we believe that education is the key to a brighter future, and we remain committed to empowering India's youth to achieve their full potential.
LEAAD Programme
Our LEAAD programme, which is aimed at fostering leadership qualities among students, was undertaken in 12 schools and has impacted 1,194 children. This programme has proven successful, as evidenced by significant behavioural changes, increased self confidence, and a new-found eagerness to embrace challenges and acquire new knowledge.
Science Labs
Several government schools face a shortage of laboratories or inadequate facilities, hindering practical demonstrations of classroom theories. To address this gap, we have established science laboratories in K.G.B.V Hirapur for 100 students, giving them access to hand on experience to improve their academic performance and foster a growing interest in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) subjects.
Healthcare
We are dedicated to improving the healthcare ecosystem by focusing on community health initiatives and providing health outreach programs to vulnerable communities. The foundation's overarching goal is to ensure that high-quality primary, secondary, and tertiary healthcare services are accessible to everyone.
Ensuring Good Health
Our Mobile Medical Units (MMUs) bring vital healthcare services, such as outdoor consultations, medication supply, and health counselling, directly to communities. With an average of 125 patients served daily, our designated MMUs focus on rural areas, providing guidance on nutrition, healthy lifestyles, and personalized health actions. Health Mobilisers, working under medical supervision, play a crucial role in enhancing the well-being of the communities we serve.
iBreast Check-up Camp
We have partnered with Shree Halol Stree Samaj to conduct a Breast Tumour Detection Camp and held health camps in various locations such as rural areas, hospitals, industries, institutes, public healthcare centres, and government offices, reaching a wide audience. In FY23 alone, 4,500+ women have benefited from our health camps, and we've made a special effort to raise awareness about breast cancer through targeted interventions.
Communities
Polycab Utkarsh
At Polycab, we believe that skill development is the foundation of a brighter future. Our flagship CSR initiative, ‘Polycab Utkarsh,’ is driven by a single, powerful goal, uplifting India’s electrician community through structured training. Launched in September 2024 under the Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) framework, Utkarsh is aligned with Skill India, Construction Skill Development Council curriculum. The program offers 2-days intensive training module. Its unique dual-mode training on live and de-energized electrical circuit is complemented by safety awareness, communication skills, and customer management techniques. This ensures participants are ready for real-world challenges and can deliver safer, more reliable services to communities nationwide.
The program is transforming into a nationwide electrician community platform, bringing formal professional training to the unorganized sector. Polycab Utkarsh has trained over 16000+ electricians over 22 cities from 8 states. Our approach combines core technical competency building with standardized troubleshooting practices, ensuring electricians deliver safer, more reliable services across India. Electricians trained and certified under Polycab Utkarsh are not just improving India’s electrical efficiency, but also enhancing the lives of their families, communities and customers through improved safety and service standards.

Women's Empowerment
Recognizing the pivotal role of women's financial independence in societal progress, we are committed to empowering women through diverse skill development initiatives. Our efforts include martial arts for girls, collaboration with Self Help Groups (SHGs) for agarbatti making, and implementation of sewing courses, among other initiatives.

Waste to Wealth
Nature has provided us with a powerful tool for organic farming: Jivamrut. Rich in essential nutrients like carbon, nitrogen, phosphorous, and potassium, it serves as a natural pesticide and fertiliser. Its impact is so significant that we've established a dedicated setup to produce Jivamrut alongside our vermicompost project.
