Ashish D. Jain is the Executive President & Chief Operative Officer of Polycab’s telecom business vertical.
Serving Polycab for more than 7 years now, Mr. Jain has been the founding member of Polycab’s foray into Optical Fibre Cable & Telecom-domain. He has played a pivotal role in creating the manufacturing set-up of telecom products as a Greenfield project at Polycab. His brilliant vision has helped Polycab in successful delivery of EPC-projects in a time-bound & efficient manner.
Helming the affairs at Polycab’s telecom vertical, Mr. Jain sets forth the strategic direction of the vertical, promotes its mission and ensures its operational success. He defines challenging goals and responds to the rising need and trend of a connected ecosystem. He charts out plans that incorporate all employees, customers and organizational needs to make Polycab, the most preferred Indian company in the field of integrated digital-infra solutions and EPC-projects.
Prior to joining Polycab, he has worked with Teracom Ltd. as the COO and with Vuppalamritha Magnetic Components Ltd. as the Vice President. He has a rich experience of more than 28 years in tele-communication field.
Mr. Jain holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Computers from University of Poona.
Vice President, Marketing
Rahul Garg, Vice President, Marketing, Telecom Division, Polycab India Ltd., plays the vital and critical role to develop effective sales-plans and strategies to promote the company’s products and services. Spearheading everything related to sales, he is supremely efficient to organize and maintain sales-operations and collaborate with sales-teams and cross-functional team-members to set leading examples and lagging indicators for sales-performance. He is also engaged in business-activities, including tender business, from the government & PSU-clientele.
With strong negotiation-skills, problem-solving abilities and a keen eye to assess client-needs, Mr. Garg is an exceptional communicator in providing marketing consultancies. Prior to his stint at Polycab’s Telecom, he had been working as the Senior GM, Business Development, at Supernet Infocomm P Ltd. and Teracom Limited, with an array of other work-experiences with Govt. and PSU-customers. During a span of a 17-year-long career, there have been several instances of his ability to coordinate successfully between different stakeholders of varied projects.
He holds a degree of B. Tech (Electrical & Electronics) from the UP technical University.
Vice President, Technology
Mr. Rajput is Vice President, Technology at Telecom Division, Polycab India Ltd. He is responsible to spearhead technology and commercial operations for digital-infra-EPC projects, run under the aegis of the Govt. He tailors and implements the company’s strategies to address specific digital network-needs for a project. He combines his strong technical expertise with operational skills to outline and build key-responsibilities for planning and successful project-executions.
Mr. Rajput bears an impressive career-record and 15+ years of experience in delivering technology consulting, solution-designing and project-management services and building strategic relationships with major stakeholders across both, the public and private sectors. With his hands-on approach and deep expertise in various technology-platforms and solutions like city/state/nationwide telecom network-designing, command and control centre, server and storage solutions, virtualization, ITMS/ATCS/ANPR/RLVD surveillance solutions etc., he has been successfully involved in many ground-breaking projects including Ahmedabad Smart City, Dahod Smart City, BharatNet Phase-II, Dholera Smart City and many more.
He thrives on a clear vision and the ability to share that vision in a seamless way.
Associate Vice President, Operations
Rajkumar Patel serves as the Associate Vice President (Operations) in the department for Optical Fiber Cable (OFC) manufacturing at Telecom Division, Polycab India Ltd. He has been associated with Polycab for over 7 years now and has played a key role in designing and setting up of the OFC manufacturing-unit for the company. He is in charge of all things technical and operations at Polycab’s OFC manufacturing unit. He has been involved in planning, directing, coordinating and managing operation-centric activities of the facility, ensuring conceptualization and execution of efficient operations and cost-effective systems to meet current and future needs of the organization.His deep technical knowhow and astute insights have helped the company in successful delivery of OFC-projects in a time-bound &well-organized manner.
Mr. Patel bears nearly 3 decades of work-experience in the OFC-industry and prior to working for Polycab, he has held successive leadership positions in operations, while working for big names like Teracom Ltd. and Sterlite Technologies Ltd.
Educationally, he holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Government Engineering College, Rewa (Madhya Pradesh).
National Sales Head, Passive Business
Mr. Sutradhar is the National Sales Head (Passive Business) at Telecom Division, Polycab India Ltd. He leads the company’s sales, marketing and business development efforts to make available its Passive Networking Solutions and Accessories to customers through a pan-India partner-network. In delivering exceptional service to customers and drive the company’s future growth, he is responsible for continued activation of the Partner Programme to drive penetration of the new products, enhance delivery-excellence and increase client-value. With his comprehensive sales-plans, he promotes the company’s passive product leadership, achieves brand-recognition and extends its competitive advantage in the targeted segments.
Head of Product Management
Srikant V Telharkar is the Head of Product Management at Polycab’s telecom vertical. Mr. Telharkar leads the development and management of a product’s roadmap, based on the integrated strategies and vision of Polycab’s telecom-offerings. His role is to outline the business-value of a product to the product-team, so that they understand the aim and purpose of the new product or product-release.
Mr. Telharkar works as a pivot within the company for its telecom-products vis-à-vis emerging trends of the market. With a broad range of expertise on product management, product development, category management, global product launches, key account management, technical sales support and business development, Mr. Telharkar has a rich experience of working for different prominent organizations like Digisol Systems, Schneider Electric India, Smartlink Network Systems and others, for more than 28 years.
He holds a combined degree of PG Diploma in Production Management from Delhi University and Diploma in Electronics and Telecommunication Engineer from Karnataka Board of Technical Education.
Senior General Manager, Marketing
Manish Jain is the Senior General Manager, Marketing at Polycab’s Telecom Business vertical. As a committed, creative and result-driven marketing professional, he pursues his team’s goals diligently to grow the business or idea for the company. His multi-pronged work-dimensions comprise contacting potential customers, creating approaches for coldcalls, scheduling business-meets, deciding customer-meetings and analysing sales-statistics to project sales and elevate the entire modern customer-journey. He is also dynamically engaged in business-activities for the company, concerning cash-flow management from the Govt. and PSU-clientele.
With more than 2 decades of experience in tele-communication business and across various spheres of marketing, Mr. Jain has overseen marketing strategies from start to finish for varied organizations and extracted insights to augment their efficacy. He has been involved in diverse marketing initiatives at his previous organizations to devise scalable and measurable processes that increased their ROIs significantly.
Mr. Jain holds the degree of MBA in Sales & Marketing from the Sikkim Manipal University.
General Manager, Bidding & Marketing
Mr. Ajay Sundriyal, General Manager, Bidding & Marketing, Telecom Division, Polycab India Ltd., is entrusted to execute techno-commercial bid-planning and submission for large-scale turnkey Telecom/IT/Surveillance/Smart Cities and Govt. EPC Projects. Overseeing the overall Bid Desk Management and bringing in strategic approach to win bids, he reviews tender documents and scope of works, scrutinizes the feasibility for qualification and financial parametres, prepares presentations and analyses risk-matrix, to make successful submission of Bids in response to RFPs or EOIs, on behalf of the company.
In his 20 years of experiencein 3 major segments, i.e.Telecom, Power & IT, Mr. Sundriyal has worked for prominent organizations like HFCL Ltd., Sterlite Technologies Ltd. and R.S. Infraprojects Pvt. Ltd. and Tulip Telecom, holding various leading positions and fulfilling various roles in Business Development & Bid Management. He possesses excellent communication & relationship management skills and analytical aptitudes.
With a Bachelor’s degree in Science, he has earned the degree of MBA in Business Administration and Management, from ICFAI University.
